Hi, I'm Lana.

I'm a fiercely proud mom of FOUR wonderful kids and wife to the greatest husband in the world. I grew up in Brighton, Michigan. After getting married in 2009, my husband and I traveled the country while he served in the Marine Corps. We've lived in California, Texas, Montana and traveled almost everywhere in between. After settling back in the Milford, Michigan area, we bought a house and started our family. We also have a ten-year-old flat-coated retriever named Koji. He is a big beautiful beast.

My early memories with photography were from one of my favorite aunts. She would photograph me in fields of flowers and then we would develop the film together in her dark room. It was truly fascinating to me. I have had a passion for photography since I can remember and I'm so thrilled that I turned my passion into a career.

I'm playful and sweetly sarcastic. I love kiddos, to exercise, hike and to explore new places. I love to cook and try new recipes. I will try just about anything once. Unless we are talking skydiving... I won't be trying that. I love to sing but am often very shy about it. Children make my heart soar. I melt into a million pieces when I meet a newborn.
